Mothers Day

I never truly understood how special a holiday Mothers Day was until I became a mom. Not because now it was a holiday for me too but now I knew what being a mom meant; the joy, the love, the exhaustion and tears. With an almost 2 year old to chase around and being 6 months pregnant with #2 the only thing I wanted was low key with my boys and family.

We had a great breakfast at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain, not the fancy buffet with all the fixings but a casual breakfast upstairs where our little guy could run around when he wanted to. Afterwards we walked around the resort since the weather was gorgeous and wore our little guy out;it was perfect.

My boys spoiled me with the cutest homemade art project and my hubby surprised me with two small shop gifts I had been eyeing.

Best Mothers Day gifts!
